The first blog ever. Wow. Well, I would first of all like to welcome myself to this blog site. I have always wanted to make a blog, where I could put all my thoughts about the world into it, without putting it on something like MySpace. I think this should be fun. I don’t know if anyone will actually read it, but that’s beside the point I guess. It would be great if people did, but I won’t get my hopes up.
I suppose that’s the thing about blogs. People write them, but why? Sure, you can write them for your friends, write about what you’re doing on the weekend. But it’s not that interesting, and your friends know it all already anyway. I guess the reason we write blogs, well why I decided to write a blog, was to get my thoughts out there. You know, feel like your ideas are finally coming together into something that people can read and understand. I don’t know how easy to understand my blogs will be, however I hope they will be entertaining for the world.
It is the general consensus that only emo’s write blogs, and that the blogs they write are deep and meaningful, you know about how they want to die. Well, I’m not an emo, I’ll tell you that. However, I do enjoy revelating about why things happen, and having conversations that are basically to myself. So I guess not just emo’s write emotional blogs, unless you would like to call me emo.
I guess another reason people will write blogs is to feel somewhat important. To feel like they do have some kind of recognition in life, and to know this. What a feeling. I myself revolve around the feeling of recognition. I’m sure a lot of people are the same.
I did not make this blog to talk to the world about myself, and what I’m doing in my non existent social life. I didn’t create this to get myself out there as a teenager on the web, with lots of conflicting emotions that I must express. I decided to create this blog to express, yes, express, my thoughts. Perhaps my feelings, however more my views on the world. I think that’s what blogging should really be about. Think about it, if I was going to come out and say “Yeah I’m going to this party on the weekend, at such and such street, gonna be so much fun! Luv ya babes!”, what is the point of that? the only thing that that is going to get me is a few pedafiles and an unsatisfied soul (deep, I know).
I believe that really a blog should express your views on anything and everything. I’m not going to try and offend people. I’m sorry if I do. However I’m sure you’ll find it a lot more interesting, me insulting you, then if I was to talk about my weekend.
So I really hope you enjoy this blog, I know this one is boring, however once I’ve done my introduction I will write another one, and they will probably come in quick succession, until the novelty wears off a little, and my exams come. I already have so many ideas, so they will be put down.
Having my world revolve around recognition, it would be fantastic to get comments. However I will understand if I’m talking to myself. It happens.
